Wunjo Rune
Norse mythology contends that the runic alphabet is of divine origin. Wunjo means joy; joy is love, and it should be one of the simplest pleasures shared on this earth but is the most complicated. The rune encompasses who we love, what we do and where are heading in life. This is the combination of qualities that when in balance bring us joy and happiness. This is comparable to yin and yang that stems from the existence of opposing forces that brings harmony to all things.
Wunjo can signify the end of struggles through understanding and cooperation. Time for you to revel over the delight of being alive and appreciate what is rather than what is not. Joy just doesn’t fall into your lap; it is something that has to be worked for. So what have you done lately to work for joy and happiness, and what have you overcome or need to in order to receive happiness? Joy is a luxury and luxury is a feeling of satisfaction that isn’t a material thing that you can hold in your hand. The excitement of good news is part of Wunjo, which usually accompanies a streak of good fortune. Suddenly things are falling into place and the world feels right.
Ambient love is permeating the air and your life. A wellspring of creativity is blossoming during this harmonious time. On the other hand, Wunjo warns against hubris and vainglory since joy can numb the senses and inflict the opposite effect. You could be extending love to the wrong person, and your happiness can be short-lived. You could be holding a false sense of security about your circumstances if not watchful. However, it can be a healing balm for disappointments, setbacks or even illnesses.
As with The Sun card, abruptly you’re seeing things with more clarity and understanding, an inner-self epiphany that makes you appreciate this revelation. You realize some people never get that far in their life and are still spinning there wheel with lack of understanding. However, now you feel like you can make some plans with confidence and find the cornucopia of abundance that you’ve been seeking. This rune is linked to a reward that’s earned. In order to succeed, you must set realistic goals and practical time limits for you to accomplish them. If not pragmatic about your wants, preconceived ideas will only bring disappointment. It teaches you to ally old and new lessons learned to existing problems.
Wunjo indicates that you’ll be out networking and socializing. You might land a big client or if single meet someone interesting that is definitely a person you’d like to get to know better. Business will start to pick up, career is on the move, partnerships are congenial and love is in the air. How much better can it get?
Wunjo is the absence of sorrow and suffering. You are coming into your own to now receive and understand the knowledge and energy that is being offered. The air is electrified with excitement and positive changes are coming.
