I’m a freelance creative and a child of the 1970s, living in the magical depths of South West Australia's cave and karri forest country. My fascination with fungi mushroomed in the autumn of 2018. While escaping the pressures of my day job as a copywriter, I took a mindfulness walk in nature and was enchanted by a frolic of magpie fungi, Coprinopsis picacea. Since then, I’ve dabbled in amateur fungi photography and began creating digital mushroom art in 2025.
