Since moving to Silver City in 2019, Joel Armstrong has focused his attention on the New Mexico landscape. When he says "landscape," he refers to the small and intrinsic details that make up our surroundings. Joel has been creating small colored pencil drawings, which serve as a significant contrast to the large wire installations that Armstrong has been producing for 20 years.
