Uniting NYC residents, loc-wearers, and allies across the globe, this festival is a celebration of the beauty of Loc’d hair and loc culture.In solidarity with the natural hair movement, Loc Fest focuses on encouraging and educating people of the African diaspora to acknowledge, embrace, and enjoy the natural and unique characteristics of their kinky and curly hair texture. Our mission is to raise awareness and dispel the stereotypes associated loc’d and natural hair.
