Salt with Phthalo Turquoise Blue

She eats sanguine light not violently, not
to extinguish or to devour it,
only to diffuse and to spread its caught
beauty before it fades through, in transit.

She envelops restless humans, catching
their eyes and placing seeds of a promise,
of possibility, for peace, warming
(cooling) love and acceptance here, from this.

She stays, always; she moves, constantly. She
shimmers and shivers and rolls with her pulse,
but is ultimately still, so with the
introspective wisdom spread ever else.

And now, her quiet languid world coalesced;
and now, the cycle rewound and progressed.

Artist's Description

Don’t really like writing in sonnet form, but this was an exercise in school. Decided to expand on it.
