Artist's Description

While walking around a boat yard along the clyde in Scotland I came accross this old digger sitting among a pile of stones close to the waters edge. As the tide was out I was able to climb down to the dried out seabed and capture this image using my fisheye lens.

I found the fisheye to be perfect for this, further accentuating the gaping size of the diggers arm and bucket. I then added several effects in Photoshop including breaking down the colour channels and adding a blur, noise, and adjusting the contrast and saturation.

Taken with my Nikon DSLR 3100 and edited with textures in Photoshop CS5.

Exposure: 1/250sec
f-stop: f/10
ISO: 400
Lens: Sigma 10mm Fisheye Lens.
