Littered all over the pontoons in Bangor marina are hundreds of mussle’s, limpets and even small crab remains, all picked up by the local guls consumed and left for us mere humans to walk over and clear up.
Most of the time you wouldnt pay any attention to them. Mussle shells however have always attracted my attention ever since I was a kid, and not the outside of them. but the inside.
If you examine mussle shells closely there are colours, patterns, indeed there is beauty to be found in even the smallest most unassuming of things.
