Sestina - 39 line form poem w/6 key words

1 years ago a saddened peacock led me into a cathedral
2 now before me was the bomb’s grand radiation
3 and oceans washed on to their shores a relayer
4 who preached the world blue peaceful fine
5 i was enlightened by honor glory
6 the sea shore parade swallowed me whole sent spirals drifting

6 lacing together with bodies drifting
1 over it’s atrium up through stained glass cathedral
5 she was innocent of reason not hated glory
2 people scattered homes demolished they’d soon be slain by heated
radiation
4 many had begun to sift through a thousand grains of sand so fine
3 i ventured to talk with a heightened relayer

3 soft ashes settle on the shoulders of my relayer
6 and the clouds are calling to send children drifting
4 they will survive but must pay a life long fine
1 darkness escapes calm dream beside saint’s cathedral
2 “meadows that echo with time” and inner radiation
5 of a flower child’s shinning glory

5 escaping the powerful nocturnal glory
3 where rhythmic messages long for the relayer
2 sailing now through yesterdays and radiation
6 braided troubles senseless drifting
1 cast iron leader marching around that cathedral
4 he whispered give the people a fine

4 reward him with sparkling threads very fine
5 reflecting sun in illuminated glory
1 baptism sheltered elegant cathedral
3 housing the prophet who seeks unnamed relayer
6 baby’s manger hazelwood drifting
2 spiritual contact nurses radiation

2 it shall linger for generations radiation
4 tears slip from my eye emotional fine
6 thoughts of ecstacy forever drifting
5 a million miles away blanketed silver glory
3 will transmit obscure messages for my relayer
1 who revealed religious demons contaminating his cathedral

5
peacocks spread their tales of glory
2 6 1
against radiation in the drifting cathedral
3 4
heightened relayer extends his palm pay a fine
