Elverina Johnson is a Gungganji/Yidinji woman from Yarrabah in North Queensland. She has been in the creative industry for over 30 years. One of her loved mediums is photography in which she uses to take photos of her community and surrounding features to inspire her creative works and cultural expressions.
Elverina was awarded the National Naidoc Artist of the Year for 2017. She owns and manages her own art shop 'Dirringhi Arts & Culture' in Yarrabah.
