Mirrored image of an infinity box made by Andrew Varah that sits in Birmingham City Art Gallery, England.
Infinity Models derive from an Italian concept first conceived in the Renaissance period. By using special glass any object placed within the actual model reflects and multiplies hundreds of times.
He sourced the special infinity glass from Pilkington Glass in the USA who had produced it specifically for NASA. Several years later he contacted them again to get some more of the glass only to find out they had stopped production because it was just to costly to manufacture.
He finally located 26 sheets in the Middle East. When those 26 sheets are used up, that is it.
