Artist's Description

Horse and Waggon at Blists Hill,Shropshire,UK

A waggon is a heavy four-wheeled vehicle pulled by draught animals (it has to have only two wheels to be called a cart) it was formerly often called a wain, (as in The Haywain by Constable) and if low and sideless it may be called a dray, trolley or float. Wagons are used for transporting goods, agricultural materials or sometimes people.
The Horse is called Casey and works at Blists Hill, an Open Air Museum, a Victorian Town, recreated in the middle of the Shropshire countryside.
