Artist's Description

This April 26, 2011 will mark the 25 years of the worst Nuclear Event in the History of Human Kind.
700.000 men, The Liquidators, were sacrificed and forgotten during the months after the blast. Millions of people were exposed to insane levels of radioactivity and whole towns were convert into wasted land.
This tragedy is far from over. Millions are still affected, and new generations are paying the high price of our Egos and our Ignorance with Technology.
Chernobyl showed us the dangers of Nuclear Energy and give us an example of what could happened if Nations decided to use their Nuclear Weapons over others. It give us a preview of how far our illusions of power and supremacy could mean in the human population. Our Actions has consequences, our inactions too.
So I bring this design as a commemoration to the lives of this 700.000 men that gave their lives, and the lives of their children, to safe humanity from ourselves. This is a T-Shirt is a Commemoration to never forget them and never forget what happened that Spring of 1986.

Thank you.

The True Battle of Chernobyl 1/7 Uncensored

Inspiration: Base on the old Soviet Propaganda posters, with a modern twist in the colors. Black replace Rad, giving a more dramatic feeling to the tragedy with less ideological sense, keeping the central element to speak for itself. Fonts base on the industrialism ideals of the 20s on the top, with a incarnation of the late 70’s to mid 80’s font in the bottom, as dating the event that must be never forgotten.
