Artist's Description

2006. HK Zoological Park, Hong Kong.

This may seem like a photo taken in nature, in the wild. However, when looking at the details of this image, we see a pole and a railing on the left side. There is also a slightly steep slope in the background.

All animals belong to nature, even this little bird. Birds are meant to fly freely wherever they want, that’s why they have wings. Yet we humans, for educational reasons I suppose, keep them in zoos and parks. Where they CAN fly freely, but only within boundaries.
