Artist's Description

Ben Lomond, 1,570 m (5,151 feet), is a mountain in the northern part of Tasmania (east of Launceston).

It is situated in the Ben Lomond National Park and it is one of only two mountains where skiing occurs in Tasmania.

Jacobs Ladder is the winding mountain pass that leads up to the Ben Lomond village. One hell of an exciting drive.

This picture was taken in early Autumn in March 2009.
Nikon D200 with 17-55mm lens.
