Home Grown.

Way out
In the outback
Where bluegums grew
And the hopping kangaroos
Bounced all around
While dusty blew
Up a fine storm
Making markings along the ash
And rivers splashed like puddle floods
In the dead heat of night
The stars still shone
And the moon still glowed
Like earthworms
Red dirt of our Aussie earth
It’s our own proud land
In which my two feet still stand
That’s why
I call Australia home.

Home Grown.
