Artist's Description

Once home to many street punks from the 90s Era. Galeries was a meeting point, a gathering, an identity. Every saturday, us punks would dress up, meet up, eat together at Far East or Burger King at Galeries. Burger King was our chosen fast food mainly because they had a free drinks refill policy.

That means, any one of us who ate there, kept their cups, refilled as many times as they wanted. What more could we ask for? Free drinks on a Saturday evening. Occasionally, some of the punks would pick up left over fries from people who didn’t appreciate them and shared it with those who were hungry for leftover food.

Life was simple. Friendship, Music, having a good time. This design is dedicated to all the punks and skinheads from the 90s, no matter where you sat on those Saturdays. (Forum, Galeries, Tong Building, Plaza Singapura, Museum, City Hall, Adelphi, Memo, etc..) This one is dedicated to you.
