No Fairytale...

once upon a time, people and animals resided peacefully side by side with eachother. and they spoke closely and intimately, with their leader the divine.

animals lived happily under the rule of man, because to him they were like family. so man soon had children of his own, while he looked after the animals and preserved the beauty around.

they took care of their communities, and farmed the land respectively. branching themselves out into peaceful little towns. helping to aid mother earth, and she was very pleased with them.

but in one earth cycle the world changed, man got greedy and wanted to be superior to everything!

even the trees in mans mind were inferior, the very trees that had provided man with food and shelter for centuries.

then mankind started to neglect the world around him, tearing down resources and animal habitats. plundering all they could for their own selfish gain. making mother earth and the animals very sick. father sky grew impatient and angry, something he didn’t think was possible to feel about his children.
mankind got carried away, not realising the long term damage he was causing. and the animals that had once been loyal followers, who had helped man in all his pursuits not knowing any better, they grew frustrated and rebelled.

they started copying mans ways as a child, forgetting their role with mother earth. they began killing their own neighbours, just as man had killed his own.

man still couldn’t see or wouldn’t acknowledge the dreams that father sky fed them, to warn them of the chaos he had brought upon this planet. what regrettably would become of them if they didn’t change their ways.

so animals started fighting between eachother, man decided to join in the spree and got careless, thinking only of what he could gain. blind to the fact he was actually preparing himself for his own demise.

mankind divided himself into two groups :-

those who wanted everything for themselves and knew only war.
those who were selfless, and still had love for the world the creatures residing upon it.

this battle continued through ages, man taking over the world rule and vindicting itself to his own ruin.

soon the animals forgot their role completely, becoming as savage as their human leaders. the world reached complete calamity. father sky was so ashamed and angered of his children, that he deserted mankind to sort their own problems out. it was a lesson man had to learn!

one by one animals were wiped out according to their kinds, as quickly as day turns to night.
disappearing from the face of the planet, and further disturbing the natural order.
mother earth had observed this for a century now. she grew angry very quickly;

because the planet that was created for man and beast to reside peacefully upon, was being destroyed by themselves. like children without gratitude anymore.
from the inside out, the planet fell into utter discord and ruin.
mother earth retaliated!

no longer would she provide haven for her inhabitants

earthquakes broke out, sea and storm erupted from within her bowels.

her anger meant to make man realise and change his destructive ways.

principles about this planet had been put down ages ago, for the same reason then and still now.

but mankind had grown past caring for orders anymore.

like the blind leading the blind, it was only a matter of time before man would fall down the hole created by his own despair.

if that was what it would take for man to learn the error of his ways, then it would be so.

now mankind had their biggest decision yet to make, the biggest ultimatum they would ever face again!
could they stop wallowing in their self-pity and actually make a change to heal the world back to its state of beauty, or would they continue destroying the planet and inevitably cause the extinction of themselves.

it was after all the only home they would ever have!
