Life in a graveyard is tedious enough when one is an adult zombie, so it is difficult to describe the unimaginable boredom for child zombies. Little Daedalus and Rosabelle Deaddraught, refusing to succumb to ennui, spent a few evenings fashioning a coffin go-cart that would be the envy of any of the Undead. It’s just the thing for cruising around the cemetery, and decking themselves out in some stylish headwear found in very old graves only adds to the panache. Since even moonlight can have deleterious effects on the zombie complexion, Daedalus and Rosabelle outfitted the cruiser with a parasol that enables even their poor little playmate Montrose to join them on occasion. You may want to make yourself scarce if you encounter them, though: Daedalus still hasn’t gotten the hang of that hatchet.
This original collage is constructed of hand cut vintage images upon a hand painted 5” x 7” x 1/8” canvas board and is accented with handmade art paper, Dresden trim, brass rivets, silk trim and a jet crystal. Sweetly spooky at Halloween, or any time of the year!
