Artist's Description

The C15 was produced by BSA between 1958 and 1967. It was, at 250cc, the largest capacity bike that a learner could ride on in the United Kingdom. The C15T Trials version also made the sport of motorcycle trials accessible but could not compete against the new Japanese machines being built at the time, although it remained competitive at club and national level until 1965. The C15T had a higher clearance, a reinforced frame, lower gear ratios and a high level exhaust.
