Another smoke shot.
A bit about the shot:
Its pretty simple, but one of the more important pieces of gear is either a speedlight, or a hot light with enough power to shutter speeds up around 1/100s or greater.
But it is simply a matter of shooting a smoke trail against a black background. Try to eliminate as much light spill over onto the black, best achieved by using a snoot type of shade or moving the background as far back as possible and try and get in close to the smoke patterns. The closer you are, the more striking and more intricate that patterns will be.
