The ocean in your eyes

We scattered your ashes
twenty two years ago today

I honour your memory
the memory of a friendship
that spans the oceans
and waves of time

Here they are, my two gorgeous girlfriends
locked in a friendship just like mine
laughing like sisters, whispering secrets
building bridges to futures
as yet unknown

Twenty two years ago
we scattered your ashes
across the waters
as this little one rose from the waters
of her mothers womb

Love knows no bounds
birth and death no distance
to our hearts desires

You rose from the waves today my sister
my loneliness was soothed
in that mermaid smile

And I your loyal servant
send potions of my everlasting love
to soothe the ache

I still see the ocean in your eyes

Blessed Be
