Artist's Description

Say hello to my wonderful house cat Lucky! We found him on the side of a highway and decided to rescue him. Which was not hard because once he saw us, he ran to our car and into my arms. When we firs spotted him he ran in front a huge red truck, twice. I thought I was going to see a cat die!

Our friends had lost a cat that looked like him and their cats name was Dusty. As a joke they called him Dusty Bottoms after a character from the movie, Three Amigos. Since we thought this cat we found was lucky to not have been killed. We named him Lucky Day.

He is crossed eyed so he remains indoors although we have found if we put him out in the back yard he does not leave the yard because he does not understand the chain link fence. And thus won’t jump it. He is a wonderful cat and loves to cuddle, but like most strays he has developed an obsession with food. I worry about his weight but I my husband says I should just be happy he was found and saved. We love you Lucky.
