Artist's Description

This shot was taken in New Zealand along the Tongariro Crossing 2003. We were trudging though the Tongariro crossing for 5-6 days and we all got some fantastic photographs. This was one of the steepest and more exciting climbs I had done. Any walkers above us were dislodging large boulders which was discribed later as volcano dodge ball. The rim itself made a fantastic shot however being the young idiots that we were we didnt realise until taking the shot that the rim we were standon was just snow no stabilising rock, so we quickly retreated after a few snaps.
