Artist's Description

This is the shell of an Alligator Snapping Turtle, who was about 75 yrs old when it died. This is in the museum at the Delta Rivers Nature Center, in Pine Bluff, Ark USA. They have a lot of natural items on display here. This beast was HUGE! At least 3 feet long! It probably could have killed a human! Taken with a SanyoVPC-E2100.
