Artist's Description

I’ve always wanted to live here. I really like the huge upstairs Sleeping Porch, something common here in the American South on old houses, built before air conditioning. This Greek Revival style house dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The porch has been modernized, but probably started out screened in, to aid in sleep on hot summer nights. My granny had a house with a small one. I remember sleeping there as a child, the breezes were nice!! This one is in De Witt, Ark USA. Taken with a LumixDMC-SZ02.
