An evolution in art classes

Hi folks, I’m really enjoying my time here at rb. In conjunction with all the other things I’ve been up to lately I’ve thoroughly enjoyed designing t-shirts and the like on top of all the art stuff I’ve been doing.

The past few weeks have been hectic with my moving house, teaching, finishing commissions, delivering artwork to galleries pretty much weekly as they keep selling, rebuilding my website(www.leighrust.com), getting new art ready for more galleries representing me, keeping in touch with art show organizers re: demonstrations and preparing for more commissions! Phew! That’s not even taking into account my day job.

The teaching thing is going to go online at the start of August as I relaunch the Untamed Art Classes. These will be run via email correspondence and include exclusive video demonstrations showing my techniques and delving into how to find your own style. These classes will be geared toward wildlife but I’ll also be offering a course on land and seascapes.

The real benefit of these classes is that you can work at your own pace in your own space and have me as your safety net. Many artists on wetcanvas have had a small taste of what benefit my guidance could have and soon the wider public will also have the opportunity.

I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into this new venture and watching the artists that sign on grow before my eyes!
