Mum is home............

Wohooooo, spent the afternoon with mum and Dad at the hospital, brought Dad home so I could pick Katie up from school…….. we went home and I cooked tea and did a few chores and then Mum rang to say the doctor did a few more tests and said if everything was ok she could come home. I didn’t tell Dad but I went to the hospital with Katie and after a while they said tests were okay and she could go home. We took the lift to the ground floor and walked slowly very slowly to reception….. as i was about to leave Mum & Katie there while I went to get the car the fire alarms started ringing and a security man started to close off reception so that noone could come in. I was reluctant to leave Mum and Katie in case they had to get out. Anyway I did as Mum reassured me someone would help her out if need be.

As I left reception and started to walk to the car park the heavens opened and I got soaked ……ggggrrrrrrrrr……. then as soon as I got to car and got in it stopped……..gggggrrrrr…just typical. I picked Mum and Katie up and drove her home. When we got there I knocked on the front door and told my Dad I had found a woman wandering the streets and could she come in for a cuppa…………LOL…… he looked at me as if I was mad and then saw my Mum standing behind me…….

Anyway we got her settled indoors and came home…… not bad for having a mild stroke on Friday…..I just hope it’s not too soon. I left her strict instructions to take things very very slowly as she is still unsteady on her legs.

It worries me with her at home as she has to go upstairs for the bathroom and her bedroom. I’m so worried she’s gonna end up falling down them but I can’t wrap her in cottonwool but tomorrow I am going out to get her an early christmas present. I’m going to get her a reclining chair so that she can sleep downstairs if she wants to.

She asked me yet again to thank everyone for the well wishes and kind thoughts and comments.
