The keep of Rochester Castle, Kent was built from 1127. In 1215 King John laid seige to the castle and used the fat from 40 pigs to undermine the south eastern tower. The tower was rebuilt but instead of being square like the other three towers it was rebuilt in a round shape.
Here I have used the colour swap facility on my Canon Powershot SX30 compact camera to liven the photograph up as the sky was pretty non-descript. Only the three square towers are visible in this photograph.
