The very impressive city walls of Tallinn, Estonia. With 1.9km of its original city wall and 20 defensive towers wall are still standing. Tallinn has one of Europe’s best preserved medieval fortifications. Although work started on the walls in 1265 the towers and walls you now see were constructed in the 14th century.

In the background is St Olav’s. The church must be one of the tallest in Europe at 402 feet / 124 metres. It was originally founded in the 12th century although it has been struck by lightning 10 times and had extensive fire damage on three occasions the last time being in 1931.

Above is how the photograph would look as a Framed Print.
