It’s forbidden

and I bite my tongue at the thought.

But still.

Slender hard dark muscel, balanced on the keel of that boat.

And while I sit on the bank I pretend not to stare and let my eyes roam over the black perfection, the white smile.

On shore they come back, the crocodile didn’t get them

And she yells “stupid boys, dat croc gonna get ya!’

They laugh like chimes flying overhead, the breeze carries his breath in my direction.

Stop starring now, right now.

Oh well. Pity I’m pale as the moon but I don’t seem very interesting to him.

Sitting, lean, crisp in the sun.

Beads of water fall off his head, neck, arm, his chest…

Nice.

I turn and smile so no one sees

No one sees my thought…
