For Sale: Gripped Canon 50D and 10-22mm Canon EF-S

After 12 months of deciding, scrimping and saving I finally bought my new 5D m2 and 17-40mm L this week.

So I now have my much loved landscape friends the Canon 50D and the Canon 10-22mm EF-S up for sale.

The kit comes with all the original boxes and receipts as would if received new.
It includes a Canon BG-E2 Grip and 4 matching Canon BP-511A batteries and charger. (Rrp $627)

The 10-22mm has been well looked after and includes the lens hood. (Rrp $829)

The camera body has had 15184 actuations out of the recommended 100,000.
Second hand they are still fetching around $800 on Ebay.

All gear was purchased and collected from the Discount Digital Photographic’s store at New Farm in Brisbane, Qld

The Bitter sweetness of competition entry

Bitter sweet morning!!!…

I finally entered a comp last week at the Sunday Mail newspaper. I usually shy away from entering comps for no other reason than the logistics of the entering process ( I hate it).

I entered about 6 entries at the 11Th hour not even knowing what the brief was or caring about the prize, just the exposure.

I had completely forgot, when I woke up this morning to get the paper, until my boss rang and left a message on my voice mail telling me that he had seen my name in the paper (page 23 for you Qlders) so I ducked down to Coles with much anticipation to have a look

Winners and runners up where announced today 7/2/10 and I was lucky enough to b e a runner up from about 7000 entries. Some more photos of “Awards for Excellence” images where published in the paper as
