In BED

And There He dances in bed
with memories cushioned by brain,
talking outloud instead of counting sheep,
He hugs pillows, and hugs them tight
Holds them as one would hold a wife,
And there He sleeps in bed,
Sleep talking letters that make words,
and words that eventually make sentences,
and sentences; sometimes He is the only one who understands them.
And there He lays in Bed,
Exhuasted brain, dried up tears, puffy eyes,
and still holding on to those pillows,
Yet this time, He grips them tighter, with dear life!
and Nothing coming out of his mouth,
He knows will ever make a difference,
wishing the night will never end.
