Artist's Description

While in the USA recently we were lucky enough to be able to spend some time on a working ranch.
This ranch has land in Wyoming and Montana leasing some land in the Wolf Teeth Mountains that forms part of the indigenous Crow Reservation.
These cowboys were deciding which area to work next to bring the cattle in ready for doctoring.
In the photo: Mal (back to the camera) used his Australian stock whip to help move the cattle down from behind the mountain; Terry and (right) Jesse -ranch forman.
These guys up at dawn, something to eat then into the saddle for 8 or more hours a day.
It was a wonderful time.
