Inside Out.

Fading inexplicably,
Into the forgotten,
The missed and neglected,
The dark and the lost.
Slide into memory,
Of that which is gone,
Glide into something,
Unknown.
Funny are the moments,
Of delibrate pain,
Of delerious oblivion,
Trickling down my spine.
After thoughts are decisions,
Left far behind,
Counting on others,
To be.
Be what was strengthened,
Weak though I am,
Piercing sensations,
Needling my palms.
Tough are the hungry,
The miserable lot,
Deadly indiscretion,
Forgot.
So we go wandering,
Far away but in sight,
To gather faceless memory,
To lose it again.
But what of the heartache,
Perhaps it is past,
Or only left rotting,
behind.

Inside Out.
