I Ramble Sometimes...11

WARNING…THIS JOURNAL CONTAINS ABSOLUTELY NO USEFUL INFORMATION AND MAY RAMBLE ON WITH NO POINT.

Helloooo…

Well this will be a quick ramble…
I was recently asked what the Peace n Love hippy dippy closing was all about. I had to laugh because if you know me I do not come across as such. The closing I use is quite simply something I started years ago when my brother in law passed away.

He was the kind of man that infected you with his good nature and sweet view of the world. He lived in a time long forgotton, a time of large silver jewelry and coffee shop poets in open cafes in the old part of Montreal. He was a lovely jewish man who revelled in his rebellion and humor, but was beloved by all and was incredibly active in his synagogue as a teacher of children. He was an artist, a writer, a musician (a bad one, but it did not matter…lol) and a man who loved life.

He always said goodbye with the phrase Peace n Love. When he died I took it hard. He was the first person in my life I truly missed. I began using the phrase as a way for me to remember him and it stuck. In truth I do not even think about putting it down anymore, it just happens.

I miss you David…

Peace n Love

Paul
