Dreams of Me

Dreams, dreams, she dreams of me,
She dreams of me alone.
And as I will never dream, she will
Dream alone.

Alone she dreams, alone she seems,
Yet I’m always there.
She knows not why she dreams of me,
She knows not why I’m there.

I stand beside her, a figure barely there,
I stand to guide her, to be a helping hand.
But now my time is near an end,
And now I will go.

And so she dreams, she dreams alone,
A dream I will never know,
Dreams, dreams, she dreams of me,
She dreams of me alone.
