Artist's Description

Folks back in the 1800’s were pretty humble, farmers and a few merchangts, a tavern or two, a church and a bank.

Compared to the grand edifices today, banks in that century were quite small. A vault, a row of teller’s windows and the manager’s office. A look at the opera house will tell you that! And my hitchin’ posts were bent, because I didn’t have as much time to glue all those wood slats together for the side walk and posts.
