TIME WISHED AWAY

As they arose from once sleeping forms
A glare could be seen
Emerging from the treetops
As those so small
So beautiful things began to feed
That crystal ball of fire
Moved further overhead

On the lee side of the valley
There was a dull quite darkness
But on that side, on which God’s glory shone
The forest was alive
With heart soothing sounds

Soon the whole valley
Was smothered in light
And those little subtle creatures
Finished feeding and returned to their homes

The serene silence was broken
By an earth shattering, echoing roar
The enemy is here to wreak havoc
On this pristine virgin place.
