Journal

Two of my works have been featured on Redbubble's Home Page!

In the past two weeks not one, but two of my works have been featured on the redbubble home page! The most recent featured work ‘Cartoon Camping Scene’ I created from mostly from a composite of separate illustrations I had drawn for different purposes and I created the tent graphic especially for it and then arranged them all as you see them.

Here is a link to it Cartoon Camping Scene

‘All You Need Is Lava’ was featured on my birthday and contains the same volcano as in ‘Cartoon Camping Scene’. Here is the link to it —> All you need is lava

The volcano image I included in both designs originally came from this design —> Volcanoes Are So Hot Right Now and you can see most of the other illustrations I made Cartoon camping Scene from in my Cartoon Nature Collection.

Experimenting with Textures

I’ve been experimenting with texturing some work to make it look aged or simulate flaking paint. In photoshop, to put it simply, to do this you need to take an image of an aged or flaking surface in a separate layer, crank the contrast, select the dark pixels and then switch layers and press delete on your artwork.

If you scroll down to ‘recently added’ on my profile the most recent three items have all had different treatments to be textured.
