A few times a year, La Purisima Mission (California – Spanish) is open to the public after dark. Various reinactments of society at the Mission including what the friars and indians did daily are on display. Sometimes a local group of performers are featured. Lanterns light the faces of this group as they perform. I think the lighting makes this shot look like an old painting.
Shot in August, 2013 with a Nikon Coolpix S500 point and shoot camera.
