Every once and awhile you take a photo that you don’t expect to have unexpected nuances. Where, what you thought you saw was more than what you really saw. For me, this was such a view. On a cold rainy afternoon in late December 2008, rounding a corner along the river front of this very ancient and most beautiful French town (Viviers sur Rhone), there it was: The Street to Nowhere – The Rue Allee du Rjen (The Alley of Rhone). For a very different feeling, turn the image upside-down and watch the image mood change from just a rainy day to a dark and foreboding illusion.
