I was in Hawkshead at the weekend,this time for a spot of shopping rather than busking.I realised I hadn’t a shot of this pub in my portfolio,which is most remiss of me as I was resident folk singer there for the best part of 5 years..(happy memories) It is a traditional 17th century inn with a lot of original features.
There are 4 pubs in this delighful village,two of which I have performed in (the other being the Red Lion) but now my performances take place outside…see below for the other pubs and where I now play.
