Her Life; And Mine...

Staring at the clock,
I carved the wall with my eyes.
Chased away the droning,
With my silence.

I felt her mind burning me,
Scorching me with her plans
And her battered dreams.
Stitching up my mouth…
With her disaster.

She spoke about her life,
The hardships and the heroes;
And she made me promise,
Not to fall in love.

“Its a bit late for that,”
I wanted to tell her.
I wanted to shout about my curse;
The panic that shakes me,
The hope I break;
The world she faded.

But my lips are glued…
And I stare,
At the clock,
That ticks away;
Her life;
And mine.

Her Life; And Mine...
