Twilight

Your marble lips,
Trail across my ashen skin.
Your iron fingers,
Threaten to crush my shaking ribs.
I am but a human,
A mere target of your predation…
So why do you resist…
Such temptation?
Love.
Such a beautiful word.
And now,
You are so hungry…
For something other than my blood.
