Artist's Description

I think this was the first one I did , on my investigation into obscurity study . I don’t think any work of art can be called finished , until it has a name ; so as many pieces lie in wait , in the zone of ambiguity , until a name is attributed to them . As many works defy a name and leave you a bit uncomfortable and annoyed , it is for this reason that I find them interesting . I discovered this some years ago , when I was working with polygons and polygrams . Usually the more obscure results appear once your own ideas begin to become exhausted ; I would kind of frown at some of them and put them away for later . When I would get back to them , they sometimes had taken on a strange kind of appeal , like there was something I had missed at first . Finding the right name is one thing , but when even that won’t happen , then you simply put it in the ‘most obscure’ folder !
