Artist's Description

Sony Cyber Shot DSC H3
July 2011
Punxsutawney Pennsylvania

I toured one of the historical homes in this quaint little town and this was a photograph of the very first groundhog day celebration back in the early 1900’s. Not much has changed really, the mayor pulls ol’ Punxsy Phil out of his hole every early morning on Feb. 2nd to foretell the beginning of spring.
