Sonata in Orange and Blue – Beautiful Julia Series No. III

I was lucky enough to see Daniel Barenbiom playing Beethoven’s Sonata No20 in G Major Op.49 No. 2. It was a wonderful concert, recorded in Berlin. Imagine my delight when I found a recording on You Tube this morning and had it playing while I worked.

This piece was inspired by Beethoven’s music. A sonata is defined as ’an instrumental musical compostion typically for 1 or 2 players of 3 or 4 movements in contrasting forms and keys.
