Mother Earth

I seen the weeping of a willow within her earthly eyes

A charade of eternity’s heartbeats in her stormy skies

Her worn carpets of fields lay bare beneath all comforts

Promising purity to the seasons as her bounty reasserts

In her arms she cherishes the soil of the lands all deep

Then hovers the sky with moon drops when she sleeps
