Artist's Description

The Baobab – Adansonia digitata – occurs in Africa & Madagascar. It grows up to about 25 m in height, is deciduous, and has a monstrously thick trunk with thin, spindly branches. This magnificent specimen is growing in Phalaborwa, and is one of my favourite trees.
