Artist's Description

The high court in Bangalore, India – this is actually a side entrance.

HDR processed from a single RAW file in Photomatix and then processed in CS3 to desaturate the colours a bit.
Wasn’t sure if I should correct the distortion that the ultra-wide produced – finally decided to leave it as it was.

Attara Kacheri (as it was originally named as it literally translates to meaning Eighteen Offices), built in 1864 A.D under the reign of Tipu Sultan, is a stone structure in an intense red hue, a two storied building with Corinthian columns in Gothic Style of architecture and is located at the entrance to the Park. The Public offices (Secretariat of the Government of Karnataka) were located here from 1868 AD to 1956 AD, which were later moved to the Vidhana Soudha, opposite to it. The building now accommodates the Karnataka State High Court (Bangalore is the State capital) – Source Wikipedia.
